Ingredients

  • Sourdough or crusty artisan rolls
  • Olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Shrimp, crab meat, or scallops
  • Garlic and onions
  • Heavy cream
  • Shredded mozzarella or parmesan cheese
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, dill)
  • Butter
  • Old Bay seasoning or Cajun spices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut tops off bread rolls and hollow out the centers.
  3. Brush insides with olive oil or butter, sprinkle with garlic powder if using, and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  4. Sauté onions and garlic in butter until fragrant.
  5. Add seafood and seasoning; cook until just tender.
  6. Pour in cream and stir in cheese to form a thick sauce.
  7. Spoon seafood mixture into toasted bread bowls.
  8. Top with more cheese and bake again for 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
