Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 16 ounces of ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ounces of cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a skillet over medium-high heat until the vegetables are tender and the meat is browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until the mixture is well combined and the cheese has melted.
- Place 8 even circles of shredded Monterey Jack cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are browned and the cheese has a lace-like appearance.
- Let the cheese cool slightly. While still pliable, add a layer of the meat mixture to each cheese circle and gently roll them up.
- Allow the roll-ups to cool and harden before serving.
Notes
Keep an eye on the cheese while baking to prevent overcooking. Don’t overstuff to maintain shape and structure. Use parchment paper to avoid sticking.
